About Carol Massie
From the time I was young, I realized that not everyone saw and understood things in the same way that I did. I was a bit confused by that as my intuition seemed very natural to me, but I also felt that life would be more comfortable if I kept those abilities to myself. While I didn’t seek to enhance my skills, I did have fun using them throughout life to guide me in making good decisions for myself.
Then, many years later, I suffered a devastating loss. Immediately, I desperately wanted to hear from my loved ones and to know they were still with me even though they had passed over to the other side. I began to acknowledge and use the intuition I’d had all my life to seek this assurance and to feel the presence of my own loved ones nearby.
As I developed this ability, it was such a relief to me to be able to know that a soul’s life does indeed still go on after the death of the physical body. For me, this hope changed everything, and I knew I wanted to share my mediumship with other people experiencing grief due to their own losses. I wanted others to feel that same hope. I began offering readings where I act as the conduit between loved ones in this world and those who have passed on to the other side. My goal is to help people be able to do what I call “co-existing with grief.” While we will always miss our loved ones, but knowing they are safe and still with us in spirit can bring a lot of peace to our minds and hearts.
I loved giving these healing messages so much that eventually I began to teach others how to do what we call a “reading,” and to communicate with the Spirit world themselves. It was a natural progression for me as I spent many years as a classroom teacher where I was able to encourage all types of students to learn at their own pace and to have fun doing it. I like to keep the classroom atmosphere relaxed and respectful so that everyone can feel comfortable while they develop their mediumship.
Anyone can be taught to develop their awareness of the Spirit world. You do not have to have been an intuitive child in order to become a medium. I like to say that I used to teach children how to read, and now I teach adults how to read!
